About Praktical Toys

Praktical Toys is an Australian owned, family run business, located in Adelaide, Australia. 

In order to source the highest quality products for our customers we work with suppliers from around the world. We source our products at the best prices to pass on to our customers, and ship directly to you from our overseas suppliers.

Payments, Refunds and Returns

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. 

We also accept Paypal including Paypal Express Checkout, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. 

Our online payment methods are incredibly secure, and we do not store or save your payment information. Our payment system uses the highest level of encryption available, to ensure that your payment details are always safe.

Yes! 

Whilst we ensure that our toys are packed very safely to protect them from damage during transit, sometimes things can go wrong. But don't worry!

Instead of returning damaged or defective items you just need to contact us for a full refund or replacement. Why? Returns run counter to our emphasis on sustainability. Every return has a carbon footprint. So just contact us at hello@prakticaltoys.com.au telling us what went wron g along with a photo showing the issue, and we’ll give you your money back in full. Then if possible, you can donate your product to a local charity or recycle it. 

Alternatively, if you would prefer a replacement rather than a refund please let us know and we will arrange this for you. 

Please note that you must contact us within 14 days of product delivery to be eligible for a refund or replacement. 

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be damaged or defective in some way. 

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or replacements if you change your mind after receiving your product or require the product by a certain date.

Our refund policy is valid for 14 days from the day of your order arriving. If 14 days have elapsed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or replacement.  

Change of mind exchanges will only be accepted if we receive your request prior to your order being processed. Once an order has progressed from 'processing' to 'processed for shipping' unfortunately edits are unable to be made to orders. 

Unfortunately once a product has been shipped by our supplier we are unable to cancel your order as it will be in transit. 

Shipping and Order Tracking

Yes, Praktical Toys offers free tracked shipping on all purchases with no minimum spend required.

Our suppliers typically ship items within one to five days of receiving an order. From that point, it takes 10 to 30 days for items to arrive. As soon as your product ships, you'll receive a tracking number that will let you keep track of where your order is at all times.

Please note that if you place an order containing more than one item from us, they may arrive separately and at separate times.

Once you've placed an order with us you will receive a shipping confirmation email which will contain a tracking link. 

You can also track your order at anytime from our Tracking Page by using your order number and email or tracking number.

If you can't find your tracking information please contact us via chat or email hello@prakticaltoys.com.au so we can help you straight away. 

If you place an order containing more than one item from us, depending upon the total weight or the type of items you order, you may receive two or more packages. 

These packages may arrive together, or may arrive separately and on different days. If this is the case you will be provided with multiple tracking numbers when the items are shipped.
